Digicake is a complete post production audio facility in Auckland, New Zealand. Our job range is diverse – on any day we can be recording a podcast with remote linkup, a bespoke orchestral score for a global animation company or just removing seagulls from a dialogue track – no project is too big or small.
Andrew McDowall
Andrew McDowall, in-house composer of Digicake, is based in Auckland, New Zealand and specialises in bespoke compositions for picture. He was also an internationally performing instrumentalist having played for multi-platinum award winning band Katchafire, Ska Cubano and Batucada Sound Machine and holds an honours degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music, USA. When not in the studio he runs a lot. Probably too much to be fair.
Brendon Morrow
Brendon is an international award-winning sound designer, composer, and mixer, whose work spans feature films, television, advertising, podcasts, video content and music recording. With a career built across multiple disciplines, his credits include collaborations with Prime Ministers, internationally acclaimed directors, and renowned talent both local and global. Highlights include recording Sir David Attenborough and capturing the beloved voice of Lynley Dodd reading Hairy Maclary.
